As an organisation CHRO welcomes people of all walks of life to participate in one way or the other in this persuit of justice and accountability. You are invited to get involved in the following ways:

 

VOLUNTEER.

 

Community Level: 

As a community volunteer you can participate in CHRO human rights and community development programmes in your respective communities. To qualify you will be required to undergo a CHRO human rights and community development training, after which you will be expected to deliver human and civic rights education to other members of your community, participate in programmes related to community rehabilitation, psycho- social therapy, moral re-armament, justice and accountability awareness training programmes, and the overall socio-economic and political development programmes of CHRO in your respective communities.

 

Head Office level:

Volunteer Opportunities are regularly available at the CHRO Head office at the Hague in the Netherlands. Advertisements for such volunteeer opportunities will regularly be posted at the job section of this website. If you are interested you are kindly advised to regularly check the jobs section.

 

Volunteer Information 

You are also invited to volunteer information related to gross abuse of human rights by governments, institutions and individuals. Report all forms of crimes against humanity to CHRO; mass murder, genocide, mass torture, political, religious, ethnic, tribal, racial persecution etc, especially when they are conducted at a wide and systematic scale.  CHRO will undertake to publicise, draw attention of the global community, global leaders and and institutions of international justice and collective action to cases related to the aforementioned abuses of human rights. CHRO will immediately also institute its own mechanisms of research and investigation to gain concrete information on any reported abuses and undertake appropriate steps of legal redress using the most appropriate legal systems as the specific cases may demand.

 

Become a witness

Depending on the steps undertaken by CHRO on the specific cases related to crimes against humanity, you can be welcome to become a witness if you think you have credible insights or experiences related to a specific case. In this respect you must seek appropriate information by either calling or sending an email to CHRO Head office or partner organisation or institution nearest to you.

 

Contribute Finances

Your financial support is critical in ensuring that justice and accountability is made accessible to the very many peoples in Africa whose human and God given rights are being trumpled upon by Governments, institutions and individuals who control the instruments of abuse and mass murder. MISSION:

 

The Civil and Human Rights Organisation is an organisation established to champion the cause of the victims of  Genocide, mass murder, torture, forced migration, displacement , internment and extreme forms of political, socio-economic, religious, ethnic, tribal and racial persecution. The CHRO seeks to facilitate the processes that will lead to victims of the aforementioned crimes against humanity to seek justice and accountability from competent judicial institutions both within countries and internationally for purposes of bringing redress to their affliction.

 

In so doing the CHRO also seeks to kick start and where possible complete processes that relete to safe return of displaced communities to their respective homelands, initiate projects and programmes of rehabilitation, moral re-armament, psycho-social therapy and above all help those ravaged communities recover, socially, economically and politically with aview of forestalling any possibilities of the re-occurance of gross abuse of human rights in the amidst.

 

As a civil and human rights organisation we seek to be at the fore front of all forms of campaigns to reduce the occurance of crimes against humanity in Africa. systems to bring justice and accountability to bear. In order to faiciliatate the process of achieving this mission the CHRO has developed a three year strategic plan hinged on four goals;

 

1) Strengthening the capacity of CHRO to execute its mission.

 

2) To pursue justice and accountability for, with and on behalf of the voiceless victims of crimes against humanity.

 

3) To develop programmes in partnership or independently to effectively adress the needs of communities emerging from persecution, genocide, forced displacement and internment.

 

4) To build partnerships with organisations, agencies and individuals for purposes of fulfilling the mission of CHRO.
